Working with agencies has allowed Cyplex to create displays for almost every market sector in Australia and accumulate
a huge knowledge that we put back into our designs

Brand: Fever Tree

Services: Printing & Manufacturing

Category: Food & Beverages

Working with DKSH, Cyplex created a classic card FSDU to help Fever Tree continue their domination in the premium mixers category.

Tonic was the driving force behind the growth of mixers in 2019, accounting for nearly 70 per cent of the retail sales value growth. This is in-line with the continued growth of the gin category ahead of all other spirits.

Fever-Tree was responsible for 40 per cent of this growth across Australian retail. Over the last quarter, Fever-Tree’s share in Coles and Woolworths grocery has grown to more than 34 per cent of multipack tonic water as consumers trade up to a premium option.

Fever tree and DKSH launched a project for a second site in the form of a robust card floor stand display unit to promote their Indian tonic water outside of the mixers aisle in Woolworths. The brand needed to be instantly recognizable to consumers from a distance and yet not clash with the distinct packaging of the four key ranges.

The display would also need to take the weight of the glass bottles and potential knocks from passing trolleys. It also had to be delivered to a tight budget and manufactured within a tight timeframe to meet the sales uplift driven by warmer weather.

The solution was created using litho printed stock laminated onto heavy duty board with metal rods to support the heavy trays. The design was fully assembled in the Cyplex factory and then flat-packed for economic distribution. No tools were needed to erect the display so it could be done by

sales teams.

The strategy is clearly working. Over the past calendar year, Fever-Tree’s share in Coles and Woolworths grocery has grown to more than 34 per cent of multipack tonic water.
